Doug Mauk — President, Silver Oak Homes

Doug Mauk has spent decades building custom homes across Lake Hartwell and Northeast Georgia with careful planning, honest budgets, and craftsmanship that holds up for generations. In 2025, he was honored as the Dan Saye Builder of the Year, and he currently serves as President of the Athens Area Home Builders Association.

Doug and his wife, Amanda, are proud parents of four and grandparents of eight — and that commitment to family shapes how Silver Oak builds: homes designed for the way people actually live.
